ABOUT

Maleo

My name is Josselin LÉZÉ, alias MALEO. I’m a passionate French photographer born in 1984. I discovered photography at the age of eight during a school trip to the seaside, when my father gave me the Agfamatic 300, with the very fun « flashcube » system. Since then, I have never stopped immortalizing the events and vacations I shared with my friends and my family right up to my teenage years.

At the age of 18, I stumbled upon the work and photographic ethics of Henri Cartier Bresson, which totally blew my mind. I then decided to do an apprenticeship in photography to learn all the techniques and work in a professional studio.

This training lasted three years, after which I decided to continue making my own images in a personal setting. Fascinated by double exposure, I try to create and combine my two favorite worlds : the eroticism of women and the dream-like quality of the world.
